Community Relief Program

The Community Relief Program is designed as an emergency fund to assist area families (Tipp City, Monroe Township and Bethel Township residents ONLY), one time during a 12 month period with rent, prescriptions or utilities. A policy change limiting each person, family or household to 3 times during their lifetime has been put into place. If you have received help more than 3 times, this will be the last time you can receive assistance.
Guidelines set by the Social Service Committee:
  • Must be a resident of Tipp City, Monroe or Bethel Township for 6 months or more.
  • If requesting assistance with utilities – you must provide a current bill
  • If requesting assistance with rent – you must provide a current lease.
  • If requesting assistance with prescription – information from one of the local pharmacies must be faxed with the amount of each prescription.
  • The remainder of the bill must be paid by the client, before TMCS will send their money to the appropriate landlord/utility company/pharmacy.
This program is solely funded by the area churches, businesses, individuals, Tipp Foundation, Tipp City Area United Way, clubs and local organizations.
