Details 

This class will present how and where to research family history. Many details about the lives of our ancestors can only be found offline in libraries, museums and public agencies. The resources reviewed in this class will address those sources.

Details 

Nothing speaks of Christmas like a Gingerbread House. Participate in this contest and bring back an old time family tradition. Sponsored by the TCAAC in cooperation with TMCS. Icing is included but teams must provide their own candy and edible decorations. No premade elements. Teams can consist of up to 4 people. Teams consisting of all children must be accompanied by an adult. Judging categories are: (1) Overall cohesive design, (2) Originality/Uniqueness, (3) Christmas/Holiday Spirit.
Date: Sun., Dec. 3, 1-4 pm (registrations due by Monday, Nov. 20)

The class will cover the entire buying procedure including negotiating, financing, how to pick an agent, inspections, and more.

Bring your holiday cocktail party to life with these inventive ideas for classy drinks. Aaron of Buckeye Distillery will demonstrate how to mix a variety of cocktails that will cover Halloween thru New Year. Samplings and recipes will be provided. Art Chin of Greenfire Bistro will provide small bites to accompany the tastings. Hosted by Tipp Monroe Community Services.

Word from the bird is to dress in vintage ‘40s & ‘50s inspired clothing. The gig is to win a prize for the best threads. Bring something way out and sweet (dessert) to share. Like crazy, like wow you might win a prize for that too. Get on the horn and tell your friends to be cool and come hang. Two glasses of wine and appetizers included. Signature cocktails available for purchase.

Details 

Learn the RAD System - a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance and progresses to the basics of hands-on self-defense. This class incorporates muscle memory, repetition, and self-defense skills into a confidence - building, empowering experience. The class is very physical, and tennis shoes and sweats or jeans are recommended - no dresses or heels. If you cannot participate in all four classes, this program will not benefit you. Bring bottled water.
