Details 

Would your son or daughter know what to do if the child they were babysitting for had an emergency? Does your child baby sit younger siblings? Your child will learn the responsibilities of having a job, the Rights of a Baby Sitter, CPR for Child and Infant, Basic First Aid, Growth and Development and appropriate toys and activities for kids. They also learn diaper changing, infant care and how to feed a toddler. The most important component of the Better Baby Sitters course is that it is fun!

Challenge Island is a fun, hands-on enrichment program that provides cross-curricular STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) experiences to kids ages 4–14+. But, Challenge Island is not just for kids! Join us for our multi-generational family challenge event. This unique Challenge Island program will bring your family together as a unified tribe where you will take on some of our most popular challenges. Tribes will use recycled materials to create a Star Wars-like Droid, Tribes will then design X-Wing Rockets and Rocket Launchers and compete with other Tribes for the longest and highest launching rockets. Challenge Island STEM WARS promises to be a Family Night Out your Tribe will never forget!

Make it/Take it Christmas ornaments for the community tree. Go green for the holidays and reduce, reuse and recycle. The community Christmas tree will be lit on Friday, Dec. 2nd. At 6:00 at Zion Lutheran Church. Let’s make it a true community tree by making home-made ornaments. Make one for yourself and one for the tree. Come for one or both sessions. Call the library at 667-3826 or register with TMCS. You can hang your ornament on the tree before you go home.

Is your child ready to stay home alone? Our goal is to teach students the responsibilities of being home alone and make sure they have the skills to feel comfortable with their new responsibilities. This interactive course teaches First Aid, Self-Heimlich maneuver, reasons to call 911, fire escape plans, microwave safety and problem solving.

Details 

Open to teens with a driver's license. Being a safe drivers involves more than passing your driver’s test. This class will assist the teen driver with confidence in driving. Utilizing pivot points, and mirror settings. Course events will be the Star, Parallel parking right and left and a small challenge course. Plus, how to handle roadside emergencies as in changing tires.
Date: Tues., Oct. 10, 4-7 pm
Location: Meet at TMCS at 4:00 pm for a short presentation. The Challenge will be at Kyle Park, 500 S. 1st Street, Tipp City
